What happened was Naruto was being pierced and Hinata cam in front and to protect the Neji came in front !
It felt that Neji was paying back his debt to Naruto for removing the curse but no one wanted him to die .
But it was a heroic death after all but some character told to Naruto that wasn't he suppsed to protect his friends . It's not Naruto's fault . Neji was genius !
